There are two competing Colorado transportation ballot initiatives that are currently in the petition process to get on the November ballot.

A group of "Collaborative Cronyists" and transportation czars headed up by some of the Denver Chamber leadership is pushing for a 21% increase in our state sales tax (tinyurl.com/ybubhmea).

Ouch!

This will make everyday staples such as diapers and toilet paper more expensive.

The competing ballot question, "Fix Our Damn Roads" (tinyurl.com/y9w38dtl) directs the legislature to fix our roads and bridges without increasing taxes.
