Os Guinness is an author and social critic.

Os is the great-great-great grandson of Arthur Guinness, the Dublin brewer, he was born in China in WWII where his parents were medical missionaries.

As a witness to the climax of the Chinese revolution in 1949, he was expelled with many other foreigners in 1951 and returned to Europe where he was educated in England.

He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of London and his D.Phil in the social sciences from Oriel College, Oxford.

Os has written or edited more than thirty books, including The Call, Time for Truth, Long Journey Home, Unspeakable, A Free People’s Suicide, The Global Public Square, and Renaissance.

His latest book is Fool’s Talk – The Recovery of Christian Persuasion (www.amazon.com/Fools-Talk-Recovering-Christian-Persuasion/dp/0830836993), which was published by InterVarsity Press in June, 2015.

We give of our time, our treasure and some have given the Last Full Measure of Devotion, their lives.

As we reflect on all that we are grateful for, we want to highlight two amazing charities and a marvelous event next Saturday, Toys for Taps and the Denver Street School.

Tom Tillapaught, founded Denver Street School (denverstreetschool.org) over 30 years ago to help Denver's at risk kids.

The story is amazing!

And TAPS, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (www.taps.org), helps the survivors of our military men & women.

Gabe Rao of TAPS will share his story.

Mike Boyle of The Mike Boyle Restaurant Show, is organizing a Toys for TAPS (www.mikeboyle.com/calendar/?mc_id=141) event on Saturday.

Last night your Americhicks and the Colorado Republican Business Coalition (www.coloradorepublicanbusinesscoalition.com) their annual "Honoring Our Veterans" event.

One take away from that event - "Never Forget".

We CANNOT forget those hard learned lessons.

Washington DC is a dirty, dirty place and we're not talking about litter on the street.

An example of that filth, did you know there is a slush fund (paid for by YOU) to settlle congressional sexual harrassment law suits.

The timing of the accusations against Judge Roy Moore is very suspect.

How about a little due process?
