Welcome to the Americhicks podcast.
Kim Monson is your host - Agree or disagree, let's have a conversation!
President Trump gave a speech Monday meant for the citizens in Venezuela.
In this speech he identifies what Socialism is and what it is not.
He warns that Socialism is not about justice or equality but is instead about power for the ruling class and that Socialism will always lead to tyranny.
This was a powerful and historic speech.
While directed to the people of Venezuela, the speech also contained a message for both China and Russia.
Laura Carno is a 2nd Amendment warrior.
She joins Kim today in discussion of Colorado House Bill 19-1177, a Red Flag bill.
Red Flag bills are meant to separate people deemed dangerous from their firearms.
However, the process of identifying dangerous individuals who own firearms lacks due process and could easily ensnare people who are of no danger to anyone.
Sonia McGarrity and her husband's story is inspirational.
They have five biological children, all boys.
One of their sons has Downs Syndrome.
Because of their love for children, they have added three girls with Downs Syndrome to their family via adoption.
Sonia and Kim will talk about Governor Ralph Northam's comments regarding abortion in the fourth trimester and Governor Andrew Cuomo's New York that recently passed legislation and celebrated late term abortions.
