The ever popular Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has proposed what is called, "The Green New Deal".
It seems unlikely that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the person who has developed this plan.
In this "Green New Deal" promises "a massive transformation of our society", "a ten year plan to mobilize EVERY aspect of American society at a scale not seen since World War II to achieve net zero green house gas emission".
A revised version of this proposed bill states, "[...]it is the duty of the Federal Government to create a Green New Deal— to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions through a fair and just transition for all communities and workers; to create millions of good, high-wage jobs and ensure prosperity and economic security for all people of the United States".
Senator Elizabeth Warren has apologized for, "not having been more sensitive about tribal membership".
You will notice that she did not apologize for lying about being a Native American and usurping an identity of a cultural she is not a member of.
Cultural appropriation anyone?
