Penn State Football and Basketball Scout Josh Davis analyzes the blowout win against Kent State last Saturday, and gives his takeaways from that. Then he shifts to previewing the massive top-20 matchup against Illinois this weekend, as the Nittany Lions look to get revenge for what the Illini did back in 2021. There is no official game theme other than homecoming, but we are calling for an unofficial Whiteout, so wear white, be loud, and GO NITTANY LIONS!
Penn State Football and Basketball Scout Josh Davis is back with live shows from the Comm Radio studio, and should be back with Kasey starting next week! This episode he talked all about Kent State and the MAC as a whole, and how Penn State can get as big of a win as possible against their easiest opponent of the season. Then you get to dive into Josh's head, and listen to what he's been thinking about so far this season, including his thoughts on the rest of our schedule and the Whiteout game.
Penn State Football and Basketball Scout Josh Davis analyzes the close win over Bowling Green this past weekend, and why fans shouldn't overreact to how it went. Despite a rough showing from the Nittany Lions, there were still a lot of things that went well, and considering how much other teams struggled in week 2, it definitely could have been worse. Also, having a rough game early on (especially before a bye) gives the team a chance to work on some things to get better.
Penn State Football and Basketball Scout Josh Davis talks about the nice win on the road last weekend in Morgantown, and how it sets up Penn State nicely over the next couple of weeks leading up to USC. Then he talks about the hype building up around the team right now, and how they have to stay focused on going 1-0 every week, despite having some easier matchups.

They talk about the importance of the Ohio State game and the massive implications that the OSU game has on the college football playoffs, and also Penn State's season and program as a whole. They also talk about the Whiteout tradition, and why it 100% has to be done for the Ohio State game, or Whiteout might be ruined forever.

Penn State Football and Basketball Scout Josh Davis and Comm Radio Journalist Kasey Kreider talk about the outlook for the wide receivers post Lambert-Smith's departure, and then a full analysis of the blue-white game. Allar struggled in the wind, the defense shined, and the ground game was strong despite no Singleton or Allen. Another fun spring game in the books, and now there's 137 days until Penn State Football takes the field again. :(
Penn State Football and Basketball Scout Josh Davis presents the 2024 Blue-White preview! He lists six guys to look out for on offense and defense that have important matchups or he just can't wait to see in game action. At the end of the show he goes over a Northern Kentucky transfer for basketball that could be coming to play for Mike Rhoades. Penn State plays football this week in Beaver Stadium, so get excited for game week in Happy Valley!
Penn State Football and Basketball Scout Josh Davis alongside Comm Radio Journalist Kasey Kreider preview the quarterback room going into the blue-white game. New offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki is bringing in some creative new ideas to the Penn State offense, and everyone can't wait to see what Drew Allar and Beau Pribula can do with better play-calling and better weapons around them. As always Josh and Kasey talk some basketball at the end of the show, and with Puff Johnson returning and Kachi Nzeh transferring in from Xavier, Coach Rhoades is beginning to shape his team for next season.
Penn State Football and Basketball Scout Josh Davis talks all about the receiver room going into the Blue-white game and next season, and why the success of Julian Fleming means the success of our entire offense. Without a true #1 receiver last year the offense struggled, especially in big games. A playmaker with the talent level of Fleming is exactly what Coach Kotelnicki needs to get the Nittany Lions offense opened up and back to the level of competing with the top teams in the country. Then Josh talks about the transfer portal in college basketball, and how crazy things are right now with the amount of players entering. Coach Rhoades needs four transfer players assuming Puff and Ace return, with center and shooting guard being major concerns.
