Did yesterday's primary race results in Michigan and Kansas send mixed messages? Is the Tea Party still viable?

A WSJ/NBC poll shows that seven in 10 adults blamed their dissatisfaction more on Washington leaders than on any deeper economic trends, and 79% expressed some level of dissatisfaction with the American political system.

What impact will this have in November? Some political commentators are saying "not much". First, because Americans voting behavior doesn't reflect their anger. It is far easier to indict an abstraction, i.e. Congress than it is their own representative, who many feel IS doing the job they were sent to Washington to do.

And secondly, unless you are someone with keen political interest and involvement in your local/national races, you simply don't bother to vote.  Mid term turnout is expected to be low in November -- past averages have been only 40%.

225 to 201. With five Republicans voting against suing the President for his overreach, the House this evening approved a lawsuit against President Obama for his use of executive order in implementing the "Affordable" Care Act.

Sen. Ted Cruz met with key House Republicans this evening to urge them to oppose Speaker Boehner's plan to stem the flow of illegals at the border.  The Senator's huddle is reportedly the latest example of the Senator's involvement in House affairs and serving as an informal whip against the House Leader's immigration bill to be voted on tomorrow.

The latest on the border crisis and whether Congress will get a bill thru before their upcoming month long August recess.

The Court said the four words in the law that mean what they say are: "established by the state":

If you bought insurance from an exchange NOT established by the state, then you aren't entitled to a federal subsidy.

36 states refused to set up state exchanges. However the IRS made a ruling that every exchange can offer a subsidy...Not just those "established by the state"

4.6 M Americans receive subsidies.  Two of largest states That dole out OBamaCare subsidies are FL and TX. The Average subsidy is $269 per month going to OBamaCare recipients who signed up for insurance to help pay their premium. The obvious assumption is that Without the subsidy from the Feds people wouldn't have signed up. Health care would be too expensive, so they would have just paid the fine for not having insurance which is set at $95 first yr.
