The Senate is out.  But the House is in.  Here's what they're working on.

The House hearing w/ Cong. Miller (R-FL) to hear about the destroyed docs by the VA personnel. The three VA officials scheduled to testify Wednesday evening are: Assistant Deputy Under Secretary for Clinical Operations Thomas Lynch; Assistant Secretary for Congressional and Legislative Affairs Joan Mooney and Congressional Relations Officer Michael Huff. 

In six years, the House has done a Veterans Affairs appropriations bill each year, religiously. Harry Reid's Senate has refused to consider a Veterans Affairs appropriations bill for five out of those six years! Therefore your Senator or my Senator hasn't been able to represent you properly by having the opportunity to offer amdts to the bill. Instead, Harry Reid gives your Senator ONE option: vote yes or no on the entire bill, no questions asked!

Political gridlock in Congress. Should it be addressed by the GOP campaigners? Harry Reid brings it up at every turn, so why not put out a list of items that the GOP controlled Senate, in conjunction with the GOP controlled House, will pass when elected after Nov. 2014. The first item should be to approve the Keystone Pipeline, notwithstanding the 5 year objection by the Dems in Congress and the President.

Cunningham has photographed the five living US presidents, nine heads of state, 12 prime ministers, numerous astronauts, celebrities, and Fortune 500 CEOs. But his proudest moment in a ten-year photography career came when he photographed US troops serving in Afghanistan.  He took 55,000 photos and had a selection of the best published in Afghanistan: On the Bounce.
