This is a story with head winemaker Jose Quintana of a fantastic model in Vagabonds and how they have evolved from a small production urban winery establishment, taking grapes from across the UK to create fabulous wines, to building for the future.

Majestic Wines have taken on Vagabonds to create a mega business and now they are building larger premises to make larger volumes and support more operations. A great insight into a winemaking machine that has taken off and today creates a fabulous wine offering to the general public across a number of sites, not just in London too!

The wines are hugely impressive as is their CEO, Emma Swain. This is a true example of what can be done no matter the surroundings! Built in the centre of the city of the Hague in the Netherlands is a co-operative vineyard. They create a range of wines and having developed different winemaking techniques, both from their individual experiences as well as collaborative expertise, have created an environment from which this green space is thriving. 

A true example to all cities around the world and how vines can bring people from all walks of life together. It is an incredible story which continues to go from strength to strength. Mark takes us on a journey, explaining how this began and how they work hard together to create the best wines they can through diversity and different skill sets. A real vote of confidence for not just winemaking but how the world really can be and how people can work together in harmony.

It seems incredible that we have done now the best part of THREE Series and hadn't before, actually spoken to the largest producing nation in winemaking terms in the world! Italy!!

So here we are, picking up on that vibe and speak to the vineyard owner, Domenico Veronese of Villa Bogdano 1880. This Italian winery is a story that starts from a very early age and the desire to one day come back and own a vineyard in the area where he grew up. Fast forward and we are all transported into North-Eastern Veneto to a fabulous area where the wines are truly inspirational. Old vines alongside new vines - a combination of age and beauty with minimal intervention winemaking. Take a listen!
