I know it's episode 1 but that promo I put out counts for something. So welcome to episode 2, the first episode of The Andy Brandon Show! I sit down with Dr. Joel Shrock, professor of American History and we talk about the Gilded Age and the origins of Pop Culture.

I have always had a love for all things pop culture and in the middle of that love was a fascination with the Talk Show.

I was raised on Carson, Letterman, Cavett, Douglas, Griffin, and Snyder among others. These men were my guides into the realm of popular culture and I couldn't get enough of it. So much so I dabbled with my own show at the tender age of seven. So I thought why not put the show back together? But updated. I mean who wants to listen to the rantings of a seven-year-old? Not me. I'm sure I was an idiot when I was seven.
