On Episode 58 of The Anecdote, we welcome on former Red Deer Rebel, Seattle Thunderbird and UBC goaltender Rylan Toth. Rylan is a Saskatoon native who was recently dressed as an emergency backup goalie for the Vancouver Canucks.

During the interview, we start off with a story about a time Kim hit Claude Lemieux's house with a golf ball. Prior to the interview, we start off with a recap of the Super Bowl, and how Rieger is handling the loss of his lifelong Bengals. We talk about the halftime show heard around the world, Matt Stafford, Joe Burrow, Cooper Kupp and the questionable play calls on 2nd and 1. 

Following that, we talk some Canadian Football and the CFL, including free agent news. The Roughriders have had a big start to the offseason, bringing back some big names like AC Leonard and Duke Williams; adding to the linebacker room with a familiar face in Derrick Moncrief and what is next for the team. We talk big moves around the league, including Andrew Harris, Brandon Banks and Mike Reilly.

Adam Machart, former Saskatoon Hilltop and current U of S Huskie running back joins us. We talk about his journey through Saskatchewan Football, his multiple championships, legendary coaches he has had through the years, and what the future holds for him and the CFL draft approaches.  

After the interview Logan presents a Local Guy/Gal of the week, and we recap some of the major Canadian storylines from the Winter Olympics including the women's gold medal, Marie-Philip Poulin, the men's disappointing performance and Mark McMorris getting robbed.
