The rich depth of night holds space for the brilliant light of day. Each needs the other to survive. Animals know all this and so much more during the time of Solstice.

It's an oft repeated belief that empaths are sponges who soak up energies/emotions around them and are incapable of choosing otherwise. Sponge, the beings in animal experience, would beg to differ. Being deeply aware of energy also means you have an accountability to choose how to respond. Be-ing a sponge is a choice, not a mandate.

Even with seeming opposites Animals understand that there is a greater equalizer than who
has stripes of one kind or another. That is the dictum of balance between all beings on Earth.
The illusion of one being more powerful is only in the human experience as Animals always know better.

Animals do pretty much everything better on the planet when it comes to using her resources wisely and efficiently. Humans - not so much. We've got quite a bit to learn from them - the question is: when do we start?

"You do not believe - you only believe that you believe." (Samuel Taylor Coleridge, author "Rime of the Ancient Mariner". ) Human-centric belief systems litter the landscape of our planetary experience. As with most things, now is an excellent time to release what no longer serves you. Animals embrace duality in all moments and in so doing, unity itself is revealed. Less is always more.

Any practitioner of any kind of medicine - traditional, energy, etc. - is a channel in service to others through the Universe. Human experience currently dictates that this ability be applied only through academic structures because the other part - organic medical intuition - is invalid. Animals know the best way forward is to soften the academic part and sharpen the intuitive part. “You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

The "wood wide web" (Peter Wohlleben) of Tree (and also Plant) interconnectedness was historically dismissed by science. And perhaps thought of as "hippy dippy". As was talking to plants. We now know how incredibly intelligent they are and how they work together to ensure the survival of all - what a concept!

Animals everywhere act as mirrors for whatever is going on within their relationship with us. Including and especially companion animals. To lead effectively is to follow which, as humans, we sometimes have difficulty doing. Especially when we must look into our own mirrors first for solutions.

There was a time that science didn't think Animals could feel pain. In recent years, some scientists perceive that Animals may have a sense of humor because they appear to like being tickled. The bar hasn't risen that much if you ask the phenomenally intuitive, intelligent and sentient beings known as "animals" to us with whom we share this planet. Take a look inside at the healing power of humor as they know it to be.
