We as artists, let alone as people, tend to place our success in the hands of others. We let society and peers judge and define how successful we are based upon their preconceived notions of what success means. But in reality, our peers don't know what it means to be an artist because those that judge us, usually are not one. We need to take the definition of success into our own hands and learn that we are successful despite what others may think.
