Episode 20 is here and we know the guys promised you the details on the giveaway but its their first time so just give them a bit to get everything squared away and they'll make sure its a giveaway you won't forget! On to the show, they have their guy and possibly new co host McQuallias joining them once again. Gami and Ykso get into the final episodes of two of the spring season's favorites, Tomodachi Game and Spy x Family. Next they get to the Hitlist anime Ninja Scroll: The Series which didn't really impress any of them, it didn't have the same pull as the movie did which led it to be a disappointment to the guys. 

The news came with some hot topics like the announcement that the Tokyo Revengers "Christmas Showdown" arc will be coming at the top of next year, a preview of the 6th season of My Hero Academia, a new anime film about JAZZ, controlling a life sized gundam, and so much more so make sure you listen to get the full reaction!

The guys are back with their guy McQuallias who is becoming a favorite amongst the listeners so why not have him on again! With a shorter week on their hands they didn't have much time to watch any anime or read manga but they did start the "Anbu Hitlist Anime" of the week which was Vinland Saga. Giving their opinions on how they felt about the anime up to the points they've seen so far listen in to see if you agree or disagree with what they thought about it!

News this week started off very saddening with some unfortunate things that happened then they go on to some SAO news with its upcoming 2nd Progressive movie, Mcdonald's in Japan has a Char Aznable burger that comes with THREE patties so maybe if you're there stop by your local spot and grab a bite. The biggest news this week we think was the announcement that Trigun will be getting a remake of its anime titled Trigun Stampede. Episode 18 of the Anime Anbu podcast is here!! As always your two favorite Anbu are here to bring you a hilarious episode full of laughs and maybe a few hot takes. Getting into the podcast the guys start off with the anime of the week which all had some really amazing episodes this week. Tomodachi Game left us wondering will this be the end for Yuichi and Tenji as it seems they may have lost the third game. Spy x Family gave us a hilarious episode full of funny Anya moments while she continues to try to be the best student she can at school. Summertime Rendering continues to stay at the top of the list with the amazing twists and story it brings each and every week!

Next up is the news which included a lot of anime, most notably the ones that are coming to Netflix like Moonrise, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and Uncle from Another World. They also talk about the new release date for the Dragon Ball Super movie(August 19), the Beserk manga coming back while the One Piece manga goes on a 1 month break, new seasons from some of your latest favorites in anime and a new animation studio being created. 

The final topic of the pod was something that Gami had picked up from a space he joined on Twitter over the past week where he heard a few people say that they were dropping Spy x Family due to the overwhelming amount of "wholesome-ness" it has been portraying. Are wholesome animes losing the grip they once had on the anime community? Listen to hear their thoughts on the matter plus much more!

Whats good Anbu fam! Episode 17 of the podcast is packed full of laughs, great content and great conversation from your two favorite members Ykso and Gami. Firstly Happy Birthday to the "King of Games" Yugi Moto from Yugioh! After that they jump right into the weekly anime to which Gami was pretty upset that a new episode of Summertime Rendering hadn't aired yet but this weeks episode of Tomodachi Game more than made up for it. 

The Hitlist anime of the week was Dororo which both of the guys loved throughout the whole series, they give a in-depth review of the series and if you watched it tell us about it! 

Next comes the news which involves a ton of new manga coming like titles such as Luce and the White Contract, Oversummoned, Overpowered, and Over it!, Tearmoon Empire, Aliens Area, and a lot more! HIDIVE and Crunchyroll will be streaming new anime soon so if you have either service or both you will be getting some great titles either way. Two sci-fi romance anime movies that take place in the same universe involving parallel worlds but both being done separately by different directors and studios plus much more.

Ending it off Gami brings up a slight debate involving two of the latest anime season's more popular anime Summertime Rendering and Tomodachi Game, which has the better ending theme song? Listen in to hear them both played then make your own decision and let us know on our social media.

Its episode 16 and the guys are back ready to get it popping with some world pausing news right from the jump BUT first you know how we do it, Ykso jumps right into breaking down some of the anime episodes from this week as Gami was behind and hadn't watched them yet. 

Next was the 'Anbu Hitlist Anime' of the week which was Prison School and Gami really enjoyed it while Ykso was really feeling it that much haha. 

Then they jump into the news starting with what these social media streets have been in an uproar about...Hunter x Hunter IS COMING BACK! One of the manga goats Yoshihiro Togashi revealed the news on his newly created Twitter account which we might add has gained 2.3 million followers in the first 72 or so hours making him the most followed Manga-ka passing up My Hero's manga-ka.

Following the news the Gami poses a question to Ykso asking him if there are any other manga/anime that have stopped or ended that he would like to see come back or get a remake. Listen to hear both of their answers!

Back off of an amazing interview with Inyoface Art last week, Ykso and Gami are back to bring you a great episode of the Anime Anbu podcast! Starting off with the anime of the week with more great episodes of "Spy x Family" and "Tomodachi Game" along with what continues to sit at the top of the gang with incredible episodes each week "Summertime Rendering."

Next they get right into the news which includes the announcement of "Fire Force" season 3, some new anime dropping soon including "Chainsaw Man," "The maid I hired recently is mysterious," and "Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari." The 'Anbu Hitlist Anime' of the week was "Baki the grappler" which was recommended by Inyoface Art and got high remarks from other people in the anime community. Gami unfortunately didn't get the chance to watch most of it because of a busy week but liked what hes seen so far and Ykso is absolutely loving it! He goes into detail about the story and growth of Baki plus why he feels its better than the original.

Your favorite Anbu members are back with a great pod for you this week! Hopefully everyone has had an enjoyable week thus far but the Anime Anbu are about to start your week off with a hilarious kick! 

                The guys get into their anime/manga of the week starting with the exciting episode of "Tomodachi Game" where the back and forth between Yuichi and Tenji kept everyone on edge up until its grand conclusion. Seriously if you aren't watching this anime then you are missing out on some great anime content! Next up is an anime that has continued to rise to the top and is the favorite of the spring season which is "Spy x Family!" This anime does such a good job of keeping you thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end. Lastly and what is on top for the Anbu for the week in anime is "Summertime Rendering" which needs to be released in america right now although we have our ideas on why we think Disney hasn't released it here yet. 

              Afterwards they get right into the news of the week which includes,  confirmation of a studio change for "Vinland Saga" season 2, where Jujutsu Kaisen: 0 movie ranks in the greatest anime movies of all time, an interesting new live action movie titled "Anime Supremacy!" a few mangas releasing and ending, and Japan is considering opening up to more tourists soon!
