Francine Jaworowicz

is a nurse at Yale, and she has been nominated to be our Everyday Hero! Kara nominated her because Fran has a group of students to help her make sandwiches each week for the local homeless shelters in New Haven. She and her husband deliver the food and hand it out. Fran also has coat drives, sock drives and deodorant and toiletry drives to help the homeless with their personal care.

It's not been a good couple of weeks for New Haven school systems, as another controversy involving string cheese being served to students!
