Gever Tulley is passionate about re-establishing the freedoms of childhood, self-directed learning, hands-on experiences and the value of play. He is the author of a book for families called 50 Dangerous Things You Should Let Your Children Do, the founder of a school called Brightworks and a summer camp called The Tinkering School. This was an incredibly special interview for me. While I have been a fan of his work for several years, ironically, it is a shared love of Baja that connected us. We cover a broad range of topics including a recent journey he took from the top to the tip of the peninsula. But we also chat about his school, education, children and how amazing they can be if adults just get out of the way and let them be curious about the world around them.
