As a young entrepreneur, Heston worked in landscaping in Park City, UT and soon figured out that he didn’t want to work for anyone or do manual labor. He’s a “needle mover”, in his own words. As a Realtor, Heston has enjoyed much success, but now is focused on apartment investing.

There is so much good and so much opportunity in the market. There are sellers that are going to NEED US.

There will be more deals, but prices won't come down much due to low interest rates keeping cap rates compressed.

Keep your feet moving. Stay in connection with your key relationships.

Be an apprentice for a successful investor. Work for someone for free. What value can you bring to a team like Christopher's or mine?

The S.H.A.R.P.E. ratio: adjusted returns based on volatility and risk. Multi-family assets are at the top of the list, they weather storms VERY well. They provide great returns, even in a recession (usually) and have a very low level of volatility.

Tate goes solo on location to Albuquerque and sits down with investor Shawn Winslow to discuss global events as they've been developing before our eyes. We recorded this hours after the Governor of Massachusetts declared a state of emergency. Shawn was about to board a plane for Boston, so the impact was hitting home. 

Our thoughts are with all who are suffering with illness and/or fear. Its a distinctly intense time in our history. We hope to continue to be a positive contribution to people, especially our passive investors and residents of our communities.
