John is a retired counsellor who has had a storied career as Recovery Advocate with his own practice, taught counselling at Quantico, served as mental support to law enforcement during 9/11 and served as President of the Maryland Addiction Director’s Council.

Yet, even in retirement John tirelessly continues to make the world a better place and accessible to the newly sober, sober-curious and those who still suffer from addiction and afflictions of mental health.

He also recently founded International Recovery Day, which enjoyed its inception this past this September 30th.
