On Having A Cuppa, Chris travels to the Beaver State, better known as Oregon to enjoy an hilarious tete-a-tete with Frank King, the performer whom adopted the guise of The Mental Health Comedian.
Over the course of his career spanning beyond three decades, Frank has enjoyed success as a comedian on the stage (performing almost 3000 shows in a single tour alone); he has written for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, hosted radio and has rubbed shoulders with well-known comics like Robin Williams, Steve Harvey and Ron White and is an award-winning columnist.
Frank has also struggled with Chronic Suicidal Ideation and has attempted to take his life.
Since becoming aware of the mental health conflict, Frank decided to make his deficit his superpower. He has used comedic talent as a keynote speaker and is also a multi-TEDX speaker, even coaching upcoming talent in both comedy and pitching and successfully delivering a TEDx of their own.
Frank shares his testimony, how he motivates himself as a potential suicidal and also has Chris in stitches with hilarious stories aplenty!
