The Apocalypse Post / Legends of Wasteland City

This week I'm joined by Wasteland Weekend owner Jared, along with Build Manager, J.R. (The Overseer) and the Landlady, Jen Harte (Winter), to discuss how everything went in this transition year, and all the great things that went down at Wasteland Weekend 2023.  Hear how WW23 went straight from the top!

Recorded on site, a couple days into teardown, while the ashes were still fresh.

I get outnumbered on this week's episode talking with Co-Host Adept Farlander, and guests The Interpreter and Winter, about all things lady-like in the wastes.  With topics like power dynamics, what to do if Aunt Flo visits you at Wasteland and tons of hilarious stories, this episode will have you embracing your powerful feminine side.

If the Mayor runs the day-to-day in Wasteland City, their running mate "Night Mayors" take over when the sun sets.  This (powerless in the real-world) position helps the mayor spread LORE around the city and helps act as an envoy for tribes and wastelander individuals get more involved in the larpier side of WW.

Meet Zero, Abso-Fucking-Lutely Darling, Commodore Pistolwhip, and Emissary as they discuss why they should be your next Night Mayor.

On today's episode we'll be talking to 3 (out of at least 5) of the wastelanders running for Mayor.  The Wasteland City Mayor (while not having any real power other than what the other wastelanders grant them by playing along) is a Lore Ambassador for the people of Wasteland, to help coach and guide them into how to play.  There's a lot to know about LORE at WW and it can be a little intimidating to get involved, but these candidates are here for you and want your vote.  So, give them a listen and let your voice be heard, because the election is coming up fast!

The wonderful Adept Farlander helps me co-host this weeks episode where we deep dive with the Mojave Muse in her Wasteland Survival Guide.  It goes over everything you need to know to have a great post-apocalypse festival.  With a few tweaks, this guide can help you get ready for almost any festival out there too.

This is part 2 of 2 so if you haven't listened to the first yet, go back and listen now.

Welcome to Neotropolis 2023 where the Sentinels and Corpos have control, and a few scrappy factions are doing what they can to subvert the powers that be.

Join Zirco (MakeShift) along with guests, Team Rocket!, Bastion, and Escher for some tales from the wayward planet of humans, aliens, robots, and A.I.

Today we're bringing stories of cyber squid cocktails, a glitchy android that almost brought down the city, and the most polite mugging that ever was.

At Wasteland Weekend 2022, on the main stage, co-owner Adam Chilson announced his retirement from running the event in front of the crowd gathered for the AHTCK show.  I got the chance to talk with him after the masses had left and find out what brought him to that decision and what was next for him and Wasteland.
