Today MakeShift and special guest co-host Shepherd are joined by Captain Bingos, AKA puppet-maker and artist Kristin Dalleske, to talk about returning home to Wasteland Weekend after missing the event for over 10 years.  The last time Captain Bingos attended was in 2013, so listen in to find out how much has changed.  We'll also touch on her work as a puppet-maker and artist working for the likes of "Dark - Freakin - Crystal" and Wasteland's sister event, Neotropolis.

Find all of Kristin's links (Etsy, Socials, Website) here: https://linktr.ee/kdalleske

November 2024's patch of the month is a cute, brave, and somewhat distractable little fuzzy rodent representing the Squirrel Squad. It's specially designed for when you've got a job to do, but you keep getting distracted by all the shiney things around you. Here's a little about it from the creator, Jeffrey Prater (A.K.A. Skurbo of The Bombers - Wasteland Weekend):

"Squirrel Squad started my first year volunteering with security due to how squirrelly we where about not staying in one place for to long but also getting distracted by everything. Then last year I created my patch wirh help from Marky Make Up for all my squirrelly folks who tend to bounce all around from one thing to the other each time getting distracted by the next big shinny." And you can hear all about it directly from Skurbo himself in this episode!

We're going to talk about Wasteland Weekend, the Bombers tribe, voluteering and so much more.

If this sounds like you, consider joining The Apocalypse Post's Patch of the Month Club, and you'll get the Squirrel Squad Patch in November.

On this episode of The Apocalypse Post(cast), MakeShift Remembers some of the wonderful (and trying) things that happened at WW24.

After way too long a wait, here's the first episode of Season 2 of The Legends of Wasteland City with our new story, "Don't Stop Shootin'". When his two young siblings are stolen by marauders, Jeremiah, the oldest of 11 children, must find a way from his little Louisianna town of Mud Haven to the slave farms of Texas, crossing paths with raiders, gangs, and zombie-like creatures called giggle-shakers along the way.

I haven't done an episode solo in a little while and I have a lot to catch you up on.  In this episode I talk about the Apocalypse Post's 'patch of the month' club, seeing Furiosa, my first ever TTRPG with the Grouch Couch, and semi-retiring as Wasteland Weekend's Video Crew Lead.
