It's been a sad week as we lost several very influential musicians from various eras and genres, so we pay our respects before digging in to the third album from UK crossover dance act The Prodigy. Keith Flint is another artist who left us too soon but he was at the forefront of the biggest commercial and critical hit from a band that have had a hugely successful career and are still being covered today - including by Billy's own band Body who have a surprising connection. Well, Billy wasn't 100% convinced but fairly sure if it was a straight fight between this and The Boatman's Call this would win on points. Morrissey and Marr were the Lennon and McCartney of the 80's but their long term legacy doesn't quite have the deep cultural relevance of The Beatles, however the UK Indie scene was based on the foundations built on the back of this band's short time in the limelight.

We've reconvened after a short break to let Billy climb an actual (not metaphorical) mountain and a lot happened while we had a little rest - not least of which was the sad passing of Ozzie Osbourne, just a matter of days after the celebratory final Black Sabbath gig. We'd already decided it was time we investigated the fathers of Heavy Rock and fair to sat neither of us really knew what we were getting in to.

Thankfully and fortuitously our rambling was interrupted by an actual lifelong Sabbath fan (and actual Brummie) in the form of our resident expert singing teacher Loz.
