The Pluto in Scorpio generation came to this planet at this point in time hell bent on shaking up the status quo. Born between 1984 and 1995, we came out of the womb holding burning pitchforks, a protest sign flashing various human rights issues, and an almost incessant need to say “no” to any authority figure trying to tell us what to do. We emerged into the Earth at this pivotal time because our little Souls knew we were needed: because nobody else could have torn down the patriarchal old paradigm Way like millions and millions of Pluto in Scorpio wrecking balls.

We have been taught, trained and conditioned to fear the very power that will shake loose the bonds of the system we are tied to. This power has been called evil throughout lifetimes past: we have been punished, we have been exiled, we have been killed. The 8th house in astrology is a place of mystery.

I feel like all of us, in 2020, have been experientially learning some of what the 8th house is all about: the loss of the labels that anchored us to this world. A glimpse at what is beyond the veil: the place where our Soul resides and we merge with the infinite "all that is."
