When Carl Fletcher joined Argyle, the Greens were in their fifth season in the Championship. Two seasons later he had just been dismissed as manager.

His journey started as a 17 year old at Bournemouth and led him to the heights of an FA Cup final. 

Spells as captain of Wales, years in the Premier League and even under the stewardship of Edgar Davids followed, but it was his spell at Home Park that shaped him.
