Ryan Leonard began his footballing life at Home Park.

Born in the city, he came through the ranks and made his debut in the Championship against Blackpool - his only appearance for the Greens.

Distraught and without much of a plan, he picked himself up and carved out an incredible career which has seen him play almost 400 EFL games and, in the last few years, at the top end of the Championship.
