Dean Devlin and Jonathan Glassner teamed up to create a new space series on Syfy called The Ark. "Everyone Wanted to be on this Ship" is the title of the 50 minute pilot, which is currently streaming for free on youtube. The story follows the crew on a spaceship destined for another planet that faces disaster when the ship begins to break apart and many supplies are lost.
