Join JK, Fridge, The Ref and Stoney on the expedition of the best current fueds from WWE Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Live!, NXT, Impact Wrestling and other promotions!  Thanks to Adam Codiroli for your Twitter request about the Finn Balor + Baron Corbin feud!  We recap Raw, SmackDown Live and NXT and the current Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns match coming up for Summerslam, Becky Lynch and her hopeful rise to the Women's Championship and so much more.  We also talk some news regarding CM Punk / Colt Cabana's NEW lawsuit over coverage of legal fees and a possible Summerslam spoiler.  Hope you enjoy our tenth (how the hell did we get here???) episode!  Music by John Kiernan.

This episode is dedicated to the memories of Brian Christopher, Nikolai Volkoff, and Brickhouse Brown.  Rest In Peace. Since The Ref is the first official Armchair Bookers Champion, we decided to make this episode all about our favorite title belts, both visually and prestegiously.  Is the WWE Intercontenental Title belt the true workhorse title?  Is the IWGP Heavyweight Championship more clout worthy than the WWE Heavyweight Title?  Did Jeff Hardy's TNA Immortals Championship raise sales at Hot Topic?  Join Stoney, JK, The Ref and Fridge on our journey through promotions, championships, and lineage of some of the wrestling industry's most famous and infamous championships.  At the end, we rate our favorites based on look and prestige.  Music by John Kiernan.

Join the full Armchair Bookers fam as we chat about our favorite times from all walks of WWE life.  From various eras such as the Attitude Era to Ruthless Aggression and modern day product, join us for what will be an ongoing topic of discussion in the future of our podcast!  Did Goldust start the Attitude Era?  Is there really an official WWE referee handbook??? Why did Rikishi hit Stone Cold (or Cold Stone if you're Farrah Abraham) with a car?  All that and more, check out this week's eposide and get in on the conversation!  Music by John Kiernan.

Today's Topic: Can Crowds Kill Matches?  Join JK, Stoney, Fridge, The Ref and our special guest Maverick for our journey through Extreme Rules 2018!  We discuss Asuka losing once again to Carmella, Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler descending into a mess due to "fan" chants, Braun Strowman throwing Kevin Owens off of the cell, Shinsuke Nakamura winning the US Championship in four seconds against Jeff Hardy and so much more.  Also, who became the inaugural Armchair Bookers Predictions Champion???  We also dive into the topic based on the Iron Man Match from Extreme Rules: Can crowds kill matches and can fans kill the momentum of their favorite superstars unintentionally by their unrelated chants?  Check out this episode and get in on the action. Music by John Kiernan

Join JK, The Ref, Stoney and Fridge in our discussion this week!  As matches on the independent wrestling scene are involving more women such as Candice LaRae, Tessa Blanchard and others wrestling against men such as Adam Cole and Brian Cage, would WWE ever consider men vs. women on Monday Night Raw, SmackDown! Live and on Pay Per Views?  Would WWE ever consider having women compete for the Intercontental, US or even Tag Team titles in modern day WWE?  We discuss the recent WrestleCircus match pitting Tessa Blanchard vs. Brian Cage, Asuka vs. James Ellsworth and a potential US Title run for the daughter of Ric Flair, Charlotte Flair!  While hardcore wrestling fans have seen this taking place more frequently elsewhere, would casual WWE fans embrace women vs. men matches on the biggest wrestling platform in 2018?  Does the competitive believability dynamic fall on gender vs gender or size comparisions (as it would with a smaller competitor vs a huge competitor)?  We look to Zach Gowan vs. Brock Lesnar from August 21, 2003 as an example of male size vs size.  Listen to the podcast and get in on the conversation!

Join JK, The Ref, Stoney and Fridge on their predictions for WWE's Extreme Rules 2018 Pay Per View on the WWE Network!

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Matt Cappotelli.  May you rest in peace.  Our hearts go out to the Cappotelli family.

Also known as Epistud Five: Revenge Of The Piss (our most ridiculous episode yet),  recap Monday Night Raw and SmackDown! Live.  We tackle the topic of if and when Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Cody come to WWE, what will their roles be and should will coming back to the US be good for their career?  Join us as we speak about Bailey and Sasha Banks' group therapy session with Dr. Shelby, Kevin Owens vs. Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns, and so much more.

On this episode of The Armchair Bookers Podcast: JK, Stoney, Doc and Fridge try to uncover how the WWE brand views NXT and WWE, respectively.  Has NXT become the best indie promotion in the world or is it a training ground for all incoming superstars, a callback to WCW's Power Plant?  Does WWE fail to have their pay per views top the NXT specials in terms of storytelling and in-ring product?  The boys also talk about some of the highlights from Monday Night Raw from June 25th and Smackdown! Live from June 26th.  Also, The Ref starts his weekly segment giving you the best of upcoming Tri-State area wrestling events.  The Armchair Bookers also deal with some comments made by one Vinny Cenzo of SWF's Furious Five...be careful with what you say, sir!

We dedicate this episode to the recently passing Leon White (also known as Vader).  Stay tuned for our ten bell salute at the end of our podcast.  Rest in peace, thank you for all of your work in the ring.On our third episode, the AB boys are finally joined by the 5th member, Stoney (ohhhh boy....)! the AB boys chat about the amazing NXT TakeOver Chicago showing before a pretty good Money In The Bank the night after.  Fridge STILL isn't happy about Seth Rollins losing the Intercontinental championship, you'll hear he's gotten even MADDER here!  The Ref gives us the downlow on SWF wrestler Vinny Cenzo talkin' some smack to the AB boys, Fridge speaks about the low blow delivered to Shinsuke Nakamura heard all 'round the world, and so much more.  Join in and see if you agree with our ratings at the end of the show.
