  • DJ Zach Moore - 4th Of July Breaks Mix
Another 4th of July is upon us and for San Franciscans that means huddling for warmth in hoodies and beanies at backyard barbeques and watching our fireworks disappear into the fog. While the weather around here may leave a little something to be desired on Independence Day, it doesn’t stop us from celebrating anyway. Enjoy this 4th-of-July beakbeat mix from The Armory's DJ Zach Moore. Happy Independence Day, Everyone!
As a member and resident of Space Cowboys, DJ Zach Moore spins events from San Francisco to the Black Rock Desert to New York City and beyond. Zach has played epic, sold-out events like Outside Lands, Burning Man, Treasure Island Music Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, PEX Summer Fest, GhostShip and the legendary Breakfast of Champions. These days, Zach's live sets are mostly packed with party rockin' breaks, but his love of electronic music starts with house and spans many of the subgenres, including deep, vocal, tech, progressive, and electro. Zach is also known as the creator of The Armory Podcast and for his work on The RIPEcast, the Space Cowboys' Breakspoll-nominated, electronic music podcast.

  • Delachaux - Episode 043
This week in The Armory we're pleased to bring you the unique musical stylings of San Francisco's Delachaux. Press play. Get down.
Delachaux is San Francisco’s sonic evocateur par excellence. His intoxicating big beat burlectro style of pouring vintage samples and exotic orchestrations over a barrage of saucy beats has fused a wild carousel of voluptuous voodoo and body-quaking bass that reflect the dilated discos and carbonated cabarets of Barbary Coast nightlife and have made him one of the west coast underground’s most seminal DJ/producers.

  • Kid Digital - Episode 041
Coming to you all the way from Chelyabinsk, Russia we’re very excited to have Kid Digital on The Armory Podcast. We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that in spite of a broken left forearm, our distinguished guest was still able to deliver this fantastic, glitch hop/breakbeat mix in time for your listening enjoyment this week. Big thanks (and get well soon) to Mr. Kid Digital for the extra effort!
Having only arrived on the international breakbeat scene in 2007, Kid Digital has been a near instant success with dozens of releases on imprints such as Elektroshok Records, Bombtraxx and Distorsion. And his many collaborations with breakbeat heavyweights like Mutantbreakz and Colombo have earned rave reviews. Many of you will recognize his latest big track, ‘Attack The Speaker’ with Rubi Dan, from several of our most popular episodes including BETA’s last fall and Seven Deadly Breaks' earlier this spring.

  • Lebrosk - Episode 038
This week in The Armory we're pleased to feature the funky and diverse musical stylings of Lebrosk (aka James Glenton). Press play. Get down.
The year was 1996 and a young, wide-eyed James Glenton was first introduced to dance music after a wrong turn at Knebworth Festival led him away from Oasis and into the electronic embrace of The Chemical Brothers. Four years later and with his trusty student loan burning a hole in his wallet, James walked sheepishly into his first record shop and bought his first piece of vinyl. Since that fateful day, James quickly set about getting his hands on a dusty pair of 1210s and after a few years of trainwrecks, has since been seen bouncing around as Lebrosk playing behind the decks of countless clubs, boats, warehouses and festivals both in the UK and across Europe.
After a 3 year stint as radio presenter on renowned Breakbeat radio station Ramp FM, James took over as station manager on the revamped Ramp Shows Blog and has established himself as someone with a keen ear for new music and a passion for discovering cutting edge new artists.
