Comic books: Most of us read them as kids, and some of us continue to read into adulthood, even though movies, TV shows, and video games now deliver superhero stories in more accessible formats. 

Yet, comic books remain appealing because they are the perfect mash-up of art, storytelling, and pure escapism, all while also indulging your inner 8-year-old who just wants to see someone punch a robot through a skyscraper.
