Not many businesses get the chance to be the first of its kind, but as a woman-owned, solar-powered, small-town manufacturing facility, Steffensmeier Welding & Manufacturing (SWM) has been the first of many things.
Jenny Steffensmeier is the woman behind the forward-thinking SWM, which was founded over 35 years ago by her late husband, Ben Steffensmeier. Since Ben's tragic passing, Jenny has taken over operations, continuing her husband's legacy of hard work and community service while leading the company to new heights.
