Anthem isnt making money like Apex Legends is making money. This goes to show you that all the hype in the world cant buy you a good title. EA COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen noted that the game hasn't lived up to its sales goals, but didn’t share any specifics on how many copies Anthem sold beyond that comment.

Love is in the air and so are partnerships in 2019. unity is partnering with Microsoft and Nvidia to expand an already robust engine.

The team at Unity have partnered with Microsoft-owned Havok to update their game engine with two new physics systems: one new default option and an additional "high-end" option backed by Havok's proprietary physics engine.

 Unity and Nvidia have joined forces to launch real-time ray tracing tech through Nvidia’s RTX platform.

Activision Blizzard published its 2018 earnings report CEO Bobby Kotick stated that "we didn't realize our full potential." The company is also laying off a lot of people (current estimates are about 800 staff) this week in some "restructuring" that the company predicts will cost it roughly $150 million.

 Epic Games is going on the offensive after being hit with a smorgasbord of lawsuits for allegedly stealing well-known dance moves and using them as emotes in Fortnite.
