Experimental filmmaker and multimedia artist Jean-Jacques Martinod joins me for this Patron Appreciation Series conversation to discuss phenomenology, art, and the creative process.

Jean-Jacques Martinod works oscillate between modalities of hybrid cinemas using methodologies that experiment with archival materials, celluloid film, analog tape, digital media, synesthetic operations, personal mythologies and travelogues. His work has screened in a variety of museums, festivals, galleries, and artist-led spaces. His most recent film, DATURA'S AUBADE, was co-directed with Bretta C. Walker and premiered at the Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) in September. J-J is also the co-founder, along with Bretta, of Evidence House, "a living / breathing / micropublishing project."
