The Artist Pivot

On this episode I am joined by Melissa Victor who is a Baltimore native, DC trained, NYC performer in musical theatre. She has been seen on many stages across the US and just wrapped her first SAG film The Foundation. She is also the creator and host of a new children's podcast called Stoopkid Stories which is now making its way into households all over the world. A lover of Christ, Cookies and all creativity. We discuss her transition back into her childhood home because of covid 19 and how she has now traded in her LaDuca character shoes for a microphone.

Oh Hey, I'm Ayana Major Bey and welcome to the Artist Pivot! On this teaser episode I give you a little bit more about me and a sneak peak of what's to come.

This podcast was created to talk with artists about their current pivot, past pivots, and every pivot in between. To celebrate our innate ability to reevaluate and adapt, whether it be on stage, at an audition, a survival job, or an unexpected situation we have to deal with… like a global pandemic. The podcast will debut on Sept 9th.
