Yet much that we as a race have come upon as valuable can be attributed the subtle. Let’s go deeper into this dimensions deeper that ancient India explored deeply, continuously and celebrated as the very joy of existence.

To live long, Ayurveda recognizes this as a deeply felt need. One, that occurs so that we might fulfill our desires. Ayu, life span is therefore the seed from which the science of longevity has sprouted. In this blog we dive into the origins of the very basis of modern medicine, namely etiology or cause of disease, symptomology and therapeutics.

Ancient cultures have always thought deeply about longevity. The ancients wanted to live long because that automatically meant one is happy and  healthy. In an age where we have mapped out the human genome and believe we are on the verge of cracking the code of immortality, all through science, it is interesting to know that the ancients had done their own research in a different way = they learnt directly Nature. While mastering certain  technologies is our means to achieving our anti aging goals today,  tuning in to Nature and eliminating any internal  friction was their way.  

In this series called "Ancient Ayurvedic Secrets", we look at Ayurveda, Yoga and try and grasp the vision of the ancients who had mastered the alchemy of transmutation of base perishable life material into  immortal essence.

India has been a surprise for the global community beginning with its vaccine response, in innovation, scale and providing free supplies to the needy. But if we look a little deeper, we will recognise that this kind of response has a certain depth to it. 

In this second chapter of the Blog “Revisiting Indian Culture in the Times of The Pandemic”, Dr. Bharat Thakur explores the origins of the darker side of the current impasse in the global consciousness of humanity, through India’s own unspoken history and shows how when knowledge is taken out of its moorings of culture, it loses its innate wisdom, which can never be found between the covers of the most sacred of books.
