Daniel M. Sullivan is an abstract artist from Chicago, Illinois. He has overcome a creative block that lasted several years and openly shares about his struggles. He also shares his process and we learn that he is an oil painter and uses kerosene.

Past episodes of "The Artist's Voice" include one with Valentino Caruso from Barcelona (#64) and another with Carlos Angel Luppi from Buenos Aires (#72). Both grew up together in Argentina and have remained friends and collaborate on art projects. For this episode, they asked to interview me for the show. I found it quite flattering that they would want to do this and agreed to participate. I am now in the spotlight and on the other side of the mic. This is Episode 76 which coincides with my recent birthday in June of age 76.

Rebecca George lives in a log cabin in Hastings, Michigan, but maintains strong ties to Chicago's artists' community. She has an advantage of being in a remote area and having a pole barn as a studio. Rebecca is a well-established abstract artist and the founder of The Art House in Chicago.

Like most actors, Andy Rindlisbach of Burbank, California, has had numerous jobs to support and in the pursuit of his passion. Not only has he acted on film but also on stage. He has appeared in a couple of Disney Channel films, one being "Minute Men" as a bully. His career has taken him from Salt Lake City to NYC and now to Burbank.

Carlos Angel Luppi is a multi-talented and multi-disciplined artist. I call him a Renaissance man since he is involved in so many related activities and assumes so many different roles. Carlos is quoted as saying, "Art is the excuse to make a social bond." Carlos proves his words by being all-inclusive.

Kelly Merkur, an abstract artists, from Parkland, Florida finds inspiration through female empowerment. As a result, she uses a lot of pink in her work. That being said, she claims that pink works as well in masculine pieces. Kelly comes from a background in textile design.

Andrea Ehret is not only an Artist but also an Art Therapist from Prague, The Czech Republic. She juggles her career along with being a wife and mother. She discusses her process in great length. Andrea encourages emerging artists to be inspired and copy only to learn. To quote her, she states " Your hand is part of your body and connected to your heart and soul."

The Artist, Jantus, is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In spite of an inadequate Zoom connection, the interview is inspiring and may be difficult to listen to. Please prevail and you will be rewarded. Jantus makes his own rules and then breaks those same rules. He has a very unique process as his approach to color is unlike any other. He reads comic books and likens the primary colors to Superheroes, secondary colors to villains, and because Batman is black, he is somewhere in between.
