Tony Rivenbark is Executive Director of the Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Wilmington, North Carolina.  Tony started working at Thalian Hall in the 1970s when it was an underutilized performance space with outdated technologies and in need of restoration.  Tony saw Thalian Hall through a master plan, bond referendum, and two capital campaigns.  Today Thalian Hall is used nearly every evening and is considered a major cultural asset to the community of Wilmington, North Carolina

Tony is the recipient of the 2019 Arts Friendly Award in the Advocacy category for his work with Thalian Hall.
