Kristín Þórhallsdóttir is multiple World and European Championships medalist in classic powerlifting. She competes in -84 kg category and has an impressive best of 580 kg total, 230 kg squat, 125 kg bench and 240 kg deadlift.
In this interview we talk about how she got into powerlifting at 35 after her son got diagnosed with a disability, became one of the strongest women in the world and fought her way through difficult injuries. We talk about how mental training has helped her and how she uses it.
Kristín is such a modest, humble and down to earth athlete and a great role model. She has proven to all of us that anything is possible and it is never too late!
