This week, Kennedy takes us through the final moments in Milan Cortina - including the giggle heard round the world by the most decorated freestyle skier on the planet, Eileen Gu. Then it’s on to iceskating with the performance of a lifetime from Alyssa Liu. The impact of her free skate touched the world and got her to the gold exactly the way she wanted to do it. The sheer joy and the camaraderie between the figure skaters was exactly what we all needed. In hockey news, the US women’s hockey team took home the gold over their heated rivals, Canada. Laila Edwards became the first Black woman to play for the U.S. Women's National Hockey team AND take home the gold.
