The Attack Action Podcast

New set means one thing and one thing only, time for a competitive discussion about ART! We're back with one of our favorite segments, the art draft. Taylor, Blake, and Zayne try their best, but without Colin this time around, does this even count as an official art draft?

We really did it this time! What if Fab had a movie come out like the new street fighter movie, well here who would star as your favorite heroes and why we picked them. You won't be able to guess who the main characters are!

It's our 5th birthday and we're celebrating by watching Taylor eat pie while we meander through some topics like Super Slam jam spoilers and the World's Top 8 format mix up. To everyone who's listened over these past 5 years we just want to say Thank You for your support, for your friendship, and we love you.

Art draft is back baby! We crush and get crushed by the amazing art in Flesh and Blood's latest release Mastery Pack Guardian. Will Colin redeem himself? Probably not, but who cares!? It's always a good time here at the Attack Action Podcast. We also chat about the general reception of MPG as well as the merits of Crack Shuffle Play, and introduce a new segment, "Pitch it, or Play it?"

It's official...the Battle Bros are super stoked for the Guardian Mastery Pack. So much so we came up with a new episode format where we define, distill, and discuss what we're calling the "totems" of Guardian. We also chime in on the recent PQ rules changes and Colin even has a new game segment as well. It's a smashtastic episode for all you attacktioneers that we hope you love.

The Battle Bros pick sides and enter the arena as Reviled and Revered Co-Hosts. We take a deep dive into the muddled hype around the professional wrestling themed set Super Slam! Discussing each of the heroes and their potential place in the meta and our hearts.

Oh and then we do a tier list ranking every CC specialization as better or worse than regicide.

The Battle Bros put on our rose colored glasses and take a look at the history and impact of the Living Legend system that governs the Flesh and Blood meta game. This unique system of rotation is probably the most discussed element of the game and it's not even really part of the game, it's a meta rules policy that determines, in part, the set of legal cards that can be played in official organized play tournaments of FAB. Love it or hate it, it's here to stay and one of the most interesting elements of our favorite game.

What are your most memorable stories around the LL system? When did it hurt you? When did it bring you the most joy?

Avast Ye Attacktioneers, the Battle Bros are back with a classic meandering discussion on High Seas, and why it's fun, US Nationals, and what's that? an impromptu Rhinar deck tech discussion. And the guys coerce Colin into opening all his Treasure Packs.
