President Roosevelt said December 7, 1941 was "a date which will live in infamy." He was right. Japan's attack on U.S. forces in the Pacific changed America forever: 2,403 Americans were killed, 21 warships were sunk or damaged and the bombing of six airfields catapulted the United States into WWII. But what you may not know is that prior to the air attack on that peaceful Sunday morning, the Japanese Imperial Navy launched a secret weapon -- five midget submarines.
