Hello. My name is Rhys Tirado, and I am the creator of Overbrook, showrunner, writer, sound editor, and also the voice of Vincent. Overbrook is about a pair of friends who are just trying to get through college in a horrific town where the people don’t have faces and the potholes are bottomless. And there’s just one more thing: Wynn keeps dying and coming back with no memory of his death. His best friend, Vincent, is too afraid to tell him. Hi my name is Adam Davis and I’m the producer and game master for “To DnD or Not to DnD,” a table-top role playing game podcast where we, a rotating group of stage actors from Indianapolis, like to showcase both the fun and deep lore building that can be done with a long term table top role playing game campaign, as well as the outstanding character work and ingenuity that a shorter campaign can have as well. We accomplish this by, once at the beginning month releasing a DnD episode, that’s the “to DnD” part of our name, in a long running campaign setting of my and my players own creation. Then, in the middle of the month, we release an episode dedicated to a shorter, one-shot campaign, that sometime stretches over several episodes, and sometimes wraps up in just over an hour. Hi there, my name is Will. I am the storyteller and the producer/editor of Academy H, which is the actual play podcast that we make using the Masks: A New Generation system. It is a very fun, heartfelt, dramatic, sometimes-serious-sometimes-silly story about teenage superheroes. The episode that you are about to hear for the showcase is technically the 22nd episode that we released, but it is an interlude between the 21st and the 22nd episode of our story where we explored one of the mechanics of the Masks role-playing game system—which focuses on asking the heroes questions after every adventure they go on that they can answer about whether or not they grew closer to the team, grew into their own image of themselves, or grew away from the team. And at the end of the episode prior to this one, there was a very sad moment where, unfortunately, one of the supervillains that they were fighting died in the arms of one of the heroes. So we decided to explore that mechanic through a therapy session, in this case. This is the first interlude story of what we are calling the H Sessions; it is the only one that we have done to date. But it ended up being incredibly powerful and the thing we've been told most often about it is that people can't believe that it was improvised, and that is just a testament to the dedication, and the passion, and the ability of this cast. Anyway, I think that's all of the backstory you might need, so I hope you enjoy this Academy H interlude: The H Sessions, Pt. 1!

Hi, my name is Newt Schottelkotte and I'm the executive producer of Where the Stars Fell. The shortest way to describe this show is "What if the Odd Couple was about fighting God?" Ever since she was born, Dr. Edison "Ed" Tucker has been physically unable to die. She’s a genius cryptozoologist who comes to the small Oregon town of Jerusalem to prove the existence of the supernatural. While she's there, she's sharing a cabin with the infamously reclusive author Lucille Kensington. But there's a twist: Ed is the Antichrist, Lucy is her guardian angel, and they have to work together to stop the apocalypse from, well, apocalypsing. If you like small towns with a lot of quirky characters, religious fantasies that focus primarily on Jewish mythology with a little bit of Christian, and stories that prioritize disabled characters getting to do the cool thing– from fighting with a giant sword to having fire powers, we just might be the show for you. This episode is called "Everybody Goes to the Rapture." It takes place in season three, and in it, an evangelical preacher comes to town. He's a Seventh-day Adventist, which means that he believes the apocalypse can happen pretty much at any moment, but he's not quite what you would expect from that description. The gang obviously can't have somebody saying that Doomsday is just around the corner running around town when that is, in fact, what is happening, so they have to hatch a plot to get this guy out of there before he cottons on to the fact that the apocalypse is actually quite nigh. Most of the secrets of Jerusalem, Oregon have long been revealed by this point in the show, so if you enjoy solving a mystery alongside the characters, you might just want to go right to Episode One without being spoiled. But if you don't mind that, then in this episode, you're going to meet Ed and Lucy. You'll also meet Gabe who is the angel Gabriel, BB who is the demon Beelzebub, and Mike who is the archangel Michael. The Ineffable Coalition of the Upper Pacific, and no, you should not spell that acronym out loud, have been given 61 days until the apocalypse is scheduled to happen, and several of those days have already passed by this point in the season.
