Creativity is a teachable cognitive skill rather than an innate gift. It encompasses "little-c" everyday problem-solving and "Pro-c" professional mastery. While AI functions as a statistical remixing engine for ideation, it lacks human intentionality and emotional depth. To maintain agency, creators must apply strategic originality, using uniquely human traits to guide technological efficiency. Simultaneously, design is shifting toward Calm UX to remedy "UX fatigue" by prioritizing restraint. This approach replaces debunked myths, like the Three-Click Rule, with empirical cognitive science to ensure functional, user-centered outcomes. Success requires building meaningful trust.
