Men like Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris, and Eric Weinstein found huge audiences while stressing the importance of free speech and open dialogue. But now, a decade after they made their mark, many members of the "intellectual dark web" have changed their tune and are now calling for censorship and deplatforming. Comedian Dave Smith, who has found himself a target of these deplatforming efforts, joins me to discuss.

Federal judges have already blocked Trump administration efforts to reform the military, reduce spending, and rein in foreign aid. They act as though they — not the president — command the executive branch. Now, the Supreme Court has taken the absurd position that the due process rights of illegal alien gang members matter more than the rights of American citizens. If Biden can import millions without due process, but Trump can’t deport them without it, then the system has no future. Democrats get to flood the electorate with a new dependent voting class during their terms, while Republican presidents get bogged down in endless legal entanglements trying to undo the damage.

Journalist Douglas Murray and comedian Dave Smith recently appeared on an episode of Joe Rogan's podcast that set the internet ablaze. The two men debated their positions on the wars in Gaza and in Ukraine, but what was really striking was the position Murray took on expertise.
