The AUSA Podcast

Welcome back to The AUSA Podcast! Join us this week as we begin a new series introducing the Residence Life staff! This year, AU has all brand new Residence Directors, so we wanted to provide an environment to give them a chance to introduce themselves, and for you to get to know them a little bit. Today, we sit down to talk with Luke, Kelsey, and Jose about what their transition to AU has been like, what excites them about working with ResLife, and the things they love about their RA staffs. We’re excited about this series, and we can’t wait for you to meet all of the new ResLife staff!

As always, we end out the episode by giving an overview of all of this week's events, (we’ve got a pretty full one for you, so get out your calendar). Tomorrow night (Tuesday), we have 'That Enneagram Thing' in the banquet hall. And then on Wednesday, we have Craft Night with our new friends, Philwood Farms. On Thursday, we have a Welcome Week event that we rescheduled because it got rained out, Trojan Tradition! For Friday, sign up your team on AUnited and join us at the AC for the Sand Volleyball Tournament, or, if volleyball isn’t your speed, come out and cheer on your friends! And finally, on Saturday we've got two events. In the morning, we're going biking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, and Saturday night we have ‘Kidult’—a super fun event where you can come bounce on some bounce houses and relive all your childhood dreams. We can’t wait to see you there!

Welcome back to The AUSA Podcast, thanks for listening in as we introduced our team to you guys! Last week, we recorded a podcast episode LIVE from the Student Center Theater—a big that you to everyone who came—with Coach Bobby Lamb and Dr. Bert Epting. We talked with the two of them about the new football team starting in 2024, and asked them the questions that you submitted to our Instagram. They shared their expectations, gave a behind-the-scenes look at what the process of starting up a new athletic program is like, and talked about all of the exciting things a football team will bring to AU!

As always, we end out the episode by giving an overview of all of this week's events. Tonight (Monday), RSVP on AUnited, break out your Hawaiian attire, and come watch "Moana" at the Dive-In Movie over at the AC Pool. Wednesday, we’ve got a super fun Game Night planned—details to come. Friday night, we have a brand new event—Glow-in-the-Dark Kickball! RSVP on AUnited to come and play at the AC Practice Field at 9:30. And finally, on Saturday night, we have a long-time favorite event, Family Feud. Again, go ahead and sign up your family on the event listing on AUnited! We’re super excited for all these events, and we can’t wait to see you there!
