The rodent infested Pixar film, Ratatouille, just turned 25 years old. We love Ratatouille and brought back one of our favorite recurring guests to talk about it with us, Heatbox! He doesn’t love a lot of movies, so when we know we’re going to do an episode on a film he’s into, we beg him to be on before anyone else.

We end this episode with a Quotes Game and our Patrons can hear us battle it out during our Top 5 Pixar Films Draft.

We’ve known for 2 years that we were going to have J.Michael Trautmann on for this episode because he is a Top Gun fanatic. So glad we were able to chat with him about this film!

Steven Spielberg’s heartwarming film about an alien wanting to get back to his planet is 40 years old! We loved E.T. as kids and brought in someone else who felt the same way, our good buddy and prolific songwriter, Jeffrey East. Always a great time talking with Jeffrey and getting to hear his thoughts on this film was very fun.

We end the episode with a new game called Plot Tub Time Machine and our Patrons can hear us draft our Top 5 Favorite Movie Aliens.

The film that brought us such characters as Cyrus the Virus, Diamond Dog, Pinball, Baby-O and Cameron Poe just turned 25 years old. Of course we’re talking about the Aviation Sensation that is Con Air.

Frequent guest, Tim Foust, and his good buddy returning to the show for the first time, Chris Chatham, have some serious history with this film. They know every deep cut quote you can think of by heart. We had a very good time hearing their takes on Con Air.

Sam Raimi took his shot with starting a Spider-Man franchise 20 years ago this week. It’s hard to believe the film that brought the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to the big screen and that infamous upside down kiss is 20 years old.

We were supposed to have our good buddy and Hollywood actor, J.Michael Trautmann, on the episode with us, but he got rocked with laryngitis and Rob was heading out on tour…so it’s just the two of us on this one. However, our Patrons get to hear us interview J.Michael on an extended version of the episode.
