We were fortunate enough to get an interview with Dayna Martin at Anarchapulco in Acapulco, Mexico in 2018. We talked about peaceful parenting, radical unschooling, and more. Here are some of the highlights:

Sunlight is the source of all energy on the planet. Plants turn the sun's energy into life by a process called photosynthesis. Not only is this how plants get their life, but animals too. Herbivores eat the plants and then they are  eaten by carnivores. Without the sun, the world as we know it wouldn't exist.

But doesn't the sun cause cancer?

Yes and no. Though the sun can cause cancer, it is much better at preventing cancer than causing it. Sunlight prevents cancers that are more common and more deadly than the potential cancers it can create. Just like with water, we have to be smart about our sun exposure. Just because we can drown in water doesn't mean that we shouldn't drink water. We need water, and sunlight, to not only survive, but to thrive! The solution is to be smart about our sun exposure. And that's what this episode is all about!

sunlight triggers the release of "feel good" neurotransmitters such as dopamine.

sunlight aslso suppresses melatonin, which helps wake you up in the morning. It can also keep you producing when you're supposed to, at night, if even the smallest amount of light is on.

harsh detergent soaps can inhibit vitamin D production from sunlight on your skin. It can take up to 48 hours for the vitamin D to processed enough for our bodies to uptake it.

3 types of UV rays: UVA, UVB, and UVC.

UVC rays are filtered through the Earth's atmosphere and don't reach us on the surface.

Simply put, UVB rays are good because they produce vitamin D. UVA rays are harmful.

Windows and some sunscreens only block beneficial UVB rays, while allowing the harmful UVA rays in.

If you're going to wear sunglasses, make sure they block 100% of all UV rays.

The best protection from the sun is inner protection from nutrition.

Antioxidants are great for sun protection. Berries and astazanthin supplements both great sources of antioxidants.

Warning: A lot of the content covered will be controversial. If we covered viewpoints held by the masses, there would be no need for this podcast. Instead, we'll be covering hidden information that isn't readily available, but only information necessary to make a good impact on the world.

A Little About Myself

I'm basically an info addict. I started my journey when I was 18 years old after starting a network marketing business, Quixtar (now known as Amway), and the book The Cashflow Quadrant came with initial package you receive after signing up. That was the first adult book I ever read, as I was quite against reading at the time. That book led me to read other financial books, which eventually led me to reading personal development books.

I tried to listen to audiobooks too, but I struggled comprehending the message. After years of reading and listening to audiobooks, I became addicted to learning new information and did so effortlessly. I was hooked!

I later learned about health, and became surprisingly passionate about it. I remember thinking health class in school was very boring. Once I put this piece of the puzzle together I knew it was about time to start sharing what I've learned with others on the Internet. I didn't know much at all about computers or the Internet, much less web design and Internet marketing.

Since 2009 I've been relentlessly learning everything that I can about how to get my message out to the world (without interfering with my addiction to the continuous learning of my passionate subjects, of course). I've written several books I plan to pubish in the future, but the only one I've published so far is my ebook Gifts From Nature. I finally feel I have a grip on things and am starting to get some momentum sharing my message and passion with the world. Read more about me and my story here.

What Is The Awareness Revolution

The Awareness Revolution is already happening. I didn't start it. I just piggybacked on the movement that was already in motion. Due to recently obtaining access to a virtually infinite amount of information, through the Internet, we have an unprecedented opportnity to communicate with each other and learn from one another. The Internet is a powerful tool that is reshaping humanity, for better or for worse. It's all in how we use it.

Unfortunately, most people are using this newfound technology for trivial reasons. They aren't aware of transformational power that the Internet has the potential of. But every day more and more people are realizing this power. The world is changing at an extraordinary pace. People are waking up every day. As more and more people become aware of the great truths I've uncoverd and will be sharing, we will change the world together. As we raise awareness, we change the world. Logical Flaws With Raising The Minimum Wage

Raising the minimum wage seems like a noble cause worth advocating for. I certainly understand that because I remember working for minimum wage and thinking the same thing. However, I have since changed my mind. Not only should we not raise the minimum wage, the case can be made for why we shouldn't have one at all. Before I get into why, I want to be clear up front and say that I actually do want low paid workers to make more money. I want them to have a higher standard of living too. I just don't think raising the minimum wage will accomplish it.

Before we get into these 10 reasons why we shouldn't have minimum wage laws, I have to point out some of the flaws in logic regarding the minimum wage. Proponents of raising the minimum wage connect with people's emotions by saying things like, "no working person should have to live in poverty." They want us to think that the government can just magically end poverty by raising the minimum wage. If only it were that easy! If it were, all governments would have to do to eliminate poverty in their country is raise the minimum wage high enough to make everyone wealthy. You think they haven't thought of that? Of course they have! The reason why they don't do it is because they know it won't work.

No Precedence For Successfully Doubling The Minimum Wage

Proponents for raising the minimum wage argue that studies show that raising the minimum wage doesn't increase job losses. While that's tough to prove and defies simple logic and economics, it's certainly not the case when significantly increasing the minimum wage. The rationalization for the fight for $15 an hour as a minimum wage in the US has no historical precedent that I'm aware of. Its main proponents use small incremental increases used in the past to justify a doubling of the minimum wage. That's a slippery slope, to say the least.

Economics is more complicated than just putting more money into the pockets of consumers. That's not what raises the standard of living. Capital investment is what raises our standard of living by investing in equipment that allows our labor to be more productive, thus providing more goods and services for people. Because the standard of living has been raised so much in the past 100 years, many of people living in poverty in the U.S. live pretty good lives, with TV and cellphones. And it certainly didn't happen because of government mandates.

Minimum Wage Hypocrisy

What makes things worse, some of the most prominent people advocating for $15 an hour as a minimum wage have a double standard. Check out our post for 3 great examples of the minimum wage double standard, including Bernie Sanders'.

1. Government Shouldn't Decide How People Run Their Business

The government is terrible at running business. Ever waited in line at a government office? Have you noticed they can't balance their checkbook? Government workers provide poor customer service, whether you're at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles or pulled over by a police officer. They seem to over spend to the point of racking up tons ...

There is an ever-growing list of people who mysteriously die shortly after threatening the establishment. Below, you'll find a list of some (not all) of them: (starting with the 3 shown in the image above)

Gary Web

Gary Webb was an investigative journalist who encountered the infamous story connecting CIA involvement to the crack-cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles. While working for the San Jose Mercury News in 1996, Webb wrote about the controversy in a series called Dark Alliance, which was later expanded upon and made into a book. Unfortunately, it probably led to his death too. His death was ruled a suicide, though he was found after being shot twice in the head! In 2014, a movie was released based on Webb's life called Kill the Messenger.

 

Dr. Bradstreet

Dr. Bradstreet was a holistic doctor that used a controversial treatment on 1,100 patients and claimed extraordinary success. By using a naturally-occurring substance called GcMAF, Dr. Bradstreet was able to see a significant improvement in 85% of the autistic kids he treated, and 25% of them were completely cured! He claimed an even higher success rate with cancer, with up to 80% of patients being cured.

Many people think Dr. Bradstreet's involvement with GcMAF is what got him killed. An informant who wishes to remain anonymous for safety reasons says that Dr. Bradstreet found evidence of nagalase being put into vaccines. Nagalase inhibits the naturally occurring GcMAF in the body from performing its powerful immune system action. Though this is unverifiable, to my knowledge, it certainly raises even more concerns with vaccines. Nagalase is normally produced by cancer cells and viruses, but Dr. Bradstreet was allegedly finding nagalase in the bodies of children, which makes you wonder how children of such young age had such high amounts of nagalase without having cancer or a heavy viral  load.

The FDA raided Dr. Bradstreet's clinic just days before he was found dead with "self-inflicted gun shot wounds" to the chest. His family strongly feels that there's more to the story because they don't believe he committed suicide, because of the person he was and the details of the gunshot wounds. You can watch an interview with them to hear their side of the story here. This is just one of the many questionable deaths of holistic doctors around that time in 2015. 2pac

Most people think rapper 2pac was just a thug that died gang-banging. The truth is much more profound and mysterious. 2pac was a passionate, revolutionary-minded thinker on a mission. He read books that generals and Presidents read, because he wanted to think on their level.

2pac was way ahead of his time! Though it's fairly common for people to have heard of the illuminati today because conspiracy theories have gained a lot of traction in recent years, 2pac was talking about killing the illuminati before his alleged death in 1996. I wrote "alleged" death because there are lots of mysterious facts surrounding his death, and not much proof of it. That's why so many people still think he's alive today. In fact, right after he died an album was released under an alias of his called MAKAVELI. The album alone is very mysterious. Why the alias? Why is it spelled in such an odd way that happens to allow the spelling of "I am alive" in  it? Why is he on the cross on the cover? Why does it say "killuminati" in the subtitle (kill-illuminati)?

In an interview, a reporter asked him where he sees himself in 5 years. 2pac said he sees his self with his own political party. Unfortunately, he didn't live long enough to make it happen. I think this is one of the main reasons 2pac was murdered, if he actually was. He was very charismatic, smart,

We all know eating a healthy diet is essential to good health. But what is a healthy diet? Ask 3 different people and they'll probably  give you 3 different answers, even the experts! However, it's easy to see that eating nutrient rich foods is important for any diet. Eat natural foods instead of artificial, processed foods. Wild plants and animals are the healthiest, but it’s not practical to live off of wild food. Organic food at the grocery  store isn't enough. You can grow nutrient dense food in your own garden, but not everyone will garden. Even if you do, more nutrition wouldn't hurt. Consider it an insurance policy.  If you don’t want to garden or can’t, it is still important for them to get enough nutrition. How do you do that if there’s not enough nutrition in the organic food at the store?

Wholefood Vitamins

You could supplement with vitamins but a lot of the supplements on the market are garbage. A lot of supplements are synthetic vitamins that are produced by pharmaceutical companies. Basically, they’re a rip off. The body doesn’t recognize synthetic vitamins very well so it’s hard for it to assimilate them. Plus synthetic vitamins are missing co-factors that would normally be present in the food. Nature is clever and packages nutrients together that need each other to work properly. When you buy a single vitamin with missing co-factors, your body has to find co-factors from other places and use them.

Pharmaceutical companies are capitalizing on the vitamin market and producing cheap products that do little-to-no good. This prevents people who would otherwise be getting more nutrition from getting it. The vitamins end up not working and often people eventually resort to pharmaceutical drugs for relief.

That’s why it’s best to get your food supplements from whole-food sources – from real food. Preferably from the most nutrient dense foods.

Enter The Superfood Revolution!

Thankfully we have the superfood revolution! Superfoods are the ultimate class of foods because they are packed with maximum nutrition. They have a lot of nutrition in just a little bit of food, which is the opposite of the standard American diet where there is a little bit of nutrition in a lot of food. Since we aren’t likely to get all of the nutrition we need from store-bought food, superfoods are essential. They make up for the lack of nutrition found in regular food.

We are living in a global community where the best superfoods from all over the world are accessible to all of us. This is the first time in history we have the knowledge and access to these incredible foods. In order for superfoods to be able to be shipped around the world, they are sometimes concentrated into powders. Raw food expert and author, David Wolfe, lists his top 15 superfoods in his excellent book Superfoods.

Top Superfoods From Around The World

Goji Berries – delicious berry with a long history of being a longevity food.

Cacao – this is the nut that all chocolate is made from. Perhaps the highest food source of antioxidants and minerals.

Maca – very adaptogenic. Great for building hormones.

Bee Products (Honey, Bee Pollen, Propolis, and Royal Jelly) – Honey is the most enzymatic food. Bee pollen is one of the most complete foods. Bee products are associated with living a long life.
