With his company, Zen Tea Traders, Capobianco works with farmers in order to help source their teas, acting as a middle man helping farmers to find a target demographic.

I enjoyed it, but I liked the technical aspect of cooking, I like working with your hands, I like development and creativity aspects.” Miller said.

This time around, the Mavens sit down to talk with media visionary and producer Daniel Tibbets, the CEO for From the Stairs Media, LLC.
Over two decades into his career, Tibbets has held a variety of major positions in the entertainment industry, including Vice President of Production at Fox, Executive Vice President at GoTV Networks and Chief Content Officer at Machinima. Through this tenure, Tibbets was responsible for developing and selling the critically acclaimed series Rome and writing on the mini-series “Signs and Wonders.” Further, Tibbets is also credited as the creator of the moibsode, a typically 1-3 minute episode of television made specifically for mobile viewing.
With the Mavens, Tibbets talks about the process to get “Rome” greenlit, his process of picking new projects, and the history of how and why mobisodes came to be. “To keep the buffering at a minimum, and get some content, the most we could do was a file size that was 684 kilobytes, and that was one minute of video content compressed” Tibbets said.

The Mavens team meets up to talk with A.I., VR and AR specialist Phil Ashcroft, the founder and Chief Creative Officer at RTSTRY.
Starting his career working with the BBC over a decade ago, Ashcroft has worked on shows like “Dancing with the Stars” and played a key role in the development of “Top Gear,” even serving as a board member at BAFTA. Since coming to the United States, Ashcroft has worked on major movies/series like “The revenant,” “True Detective,” and “Mr. Robot.” Since its inception in 2015, Ashcroft has been headlining his company RTSTRY, focused on producing virtual and augmented reality and bringing it to the forefront of modern technology, as he believes they will be the next disruptive technologies.
With the Mavens, Ashcroft discusses his work with companies like BBC, the ever-growing competition of the entertainment industry (especially in the streaming era) and the dramatically dropping price-and henceforth increased accessibility-point of the technology needed to produce quality content. “A lot of these tools have-if not free-sell very affordable versions of themselves and it’s opened up the doors to creativity again, which is fantastic,” Ashcroft said.

The Media Mavens sit down to talk with newscaster Jeffrey Hayzlett, the CEO of the C-Suite Network.
An award-winning author and former Fortune 100 CMO, Hayzlett is perhaps known for his show “The C-Suite” on Bloomberg, which became the most popular business show on cable. Realizing that his fans extended beyond TV and onto the internet, Hayzlett creating “C-Suite TV” and eventually “The C-Suite Network,” the latter acting as a membership network to connect various business people through events etc. now spanning over 350,000 members. Comparing the network to a sequoia tree, Hayzlett explains how “the C-Suite Network” has tools for anyone working in the business sector. “Underneath the sequoia tree is this huge canopy with this great ecosystem that has a community, has media content, has event as going on…” Hayzlett said.
