The Mavens team talks with the award-winning Rene Amador, an AR/XR Tech Evangelist.

Winner of the “Best AR Experience” at CES DreamlandXR 2020, Amador has spent nearly two decades producing content, directing hundreds of pilots and commercials. Now, Amador is running his Co-Founded group ARwall, a technology company helping various brands immerse their products in the world of AR/XR/VR. “There’s nothing right now for interactive AR/XR experiences. We’re seeing an opportunity to build out that type of system and platform for other developers to create this type of content.”

With the Mavens team, Amador discusses his recent work on the HBO-series “Watchmen,” the growing popularity of green-screen technology with Zoom, and Media Mavens Podcast Host Sarah Miller’s favorite project of Amador’s, an AR gaming experience at M&Ms world.

Acting as a modern pioneer in her field, Kitaen was one of the first Victoria’s Secret Models at the start of her career. Despite being held back by her height early on, she eventually surpassed her fellow models and became an actress, appearing alongside Tom Hanks in “Bachelor Party,” and featuring in numerous Whitesnake music videos across the 1980s.

With the Mavens team, Kitaen discusses meeting with Quentin Tarantino and other celebrities, naturally gaining an influence on social media, the presence of politics on social media and using a voice recorder for her new book. “I can’t even be bothered to go onto the computer and to type everything out, I’ve got so much to say it’s hard to shut me up” Kitaen joked.
