In this week’s episode of The Ayesphere, Joy gets her revenge on Aye by making him watch Steven Moffat’s 2020 Dracula mini-series while info-dumping about the real Dracula for a solid hour. There’s also a brief discussion about BDSM and safe sex practices (we swear it’s related to the former) before the duo dive into Aye’s trip to the W.A.S.D London Dev conference and all the games they’re excited to see coming out this year.

In this week’s episode, Aye forces Joy to watch Falling for Figaro, an operatic rom-com set in the Scottish highlands that somehow misses every romantic genre beat and temporarily cures Joy’s imposter syndrome. After that, they talk about the prevalence of trad-wife content on social media and the double standards of the algorithm when it comes to LGBTQ+ content, followed by a tangent about the darker side of nostalgia and why so many people seem to miss ‘The Good Old Days.’

On this week's episode of the Ayesphere, Joy, and Aye talk about the SNP leadership election, the rise of 'de-influencing' online, and Joy inflicting Aye with the horrors of trad-wife werewolf erotica ads on Instagram.

In this week’s episode, Joy and Aye take an in-depth look at Episode 3 of The Last of Us and break down some of the criticism the episode has faced — and why they disagree with it. After that, it’s a free-for-all pitting TLOU against other video game franchises that have also made the jump to television, followed by some fannish wish listing of things they would like to see adapted. And some things they'd pay money to ensure are never adapted.

This week on The Ayesphere, Joy looks at the appropriation of executive dysfunction organizational systems by the online “aesthetic” movement and why it’s ruining your mental health (tw: brief mention of weight and dieting). Aye talks about his recent trip to Rome before the conversation inevitably devolves into video game chatter before veering back onto creators behaving badly and the infamous “Scotch Bonnet” author Twitter drama, with a Tumblr favorite story from Joy about the time she unknowingly met said author and said she didn’t like her books.

In this week’s episode, Joy and Aye talk about the new animated series Velma, and why you shouldn’t watch it, everything right with The Last of Us live-action series, some updates on the ongoing drama in Romancelandia and some exciting personal news for Aye!

Joy and Aye take a look at The Witcher Blood Origin and what they liked and didn’t like about it. They also spend an inordinate amount of time talking about accents, the use of the word ‘cock’ in romance vs. fantasy before eventually getting back on track. They also discuss the Susan Meachen author scandal. It’s all related, we swear.

Aye and Joy spend the final podcast of 2022 talking about their favorite and least favorite Christmas movies, then plunge headlong into an hour long hyperfixation on Andor and how it compares to other Star Wars media in its portrayal of capitalism, colonization and social commentary.
