Diet culture is everywhere, and it’s time to talk about why it’s so harmful. In this video, I’m sharing why I hate diet culture—but not dieters. 

Diet culture promotes the false and damaging belief that thinness is the ultimate goal and that our worth is tied to our size. It’s a system that thrives on fear, shame, and unattainable standards, leading to disordered eating, poor body image, and unhealthy relationships with food. But dieters? They’re not the enemy. They’re people trying to navigate a world filled with toxic messages about health and beauty—messages I once believed, too.
