Sword of the Free’s story follows a wandering warrior by the name of Jin in 16th century Japan as he is on a quest to find and confront real-life legendary black samurai Yasuke. Frank discuss with the Bacchanal squad how he was able to blend multiculturalism and social commentary in his novel, his variety of influences including western comics, anime, manga, and video games. Frank also discusses how he started his Kickstarter campaign for this novel and what is next on for the series.
